Oh, I really like him, too. In a lot of ways, it's really hard to figure the anime kaworu out because he has so little screen time, and there are so many very different translations of his words.

I am liking the manga version. There are some things I miss from the series, but Sadamoto has pleasantly surprised me in a lot of ways :)
