We only had a handful of Trick-or-Treaters, so I was very generous with candy.

Downtown, around Concordia today to get my novel printed, I tried to figure out who was actually in costume, and who was just a Goth/hippie/in traditional cultural garb/cosplaying etc. Style around Concordia tends to be colourful on the most boring of days.

We have the opposite problem--there are a number of new immigrant families in the neighborhood, and the kids just don't get the costume thing yet.

Not that I hand out candy anymore anyway, being the horrid mean nasty anti-Halloween person that I am. ;-)
