My gaydar does not seem to be functioning in top-notch condition. I can usually tell the difference between "actually gay" versus "just an English teacher" among the men who work here.

Male English teachers are a very metrosexual tribe.

I really thought I was hitting it off with this sweet guy, until he mentioned his wife. Which doesn't necessarily mean anything, of course, except that if he is gay it's not the kind of relationship I'd want :/

For the record, I can't get together with anyone this weekend because this is the one weekend a month I work, and I have an essay due on Monday. I would like to see people before I go to BC (which is next Sunday).

But this is going to be a very blah weekend.
