Last night was a marvellous party at

foi_nefaste's. I usually hate parties where I don't know anyonwe, but this was a geek party, so that made it all better.

Had a long, great conversation with

em_fish. She is a great friend to have because I can have conversations with her about one of my favourite subjects that would bore other people to tears, even at a geek party ^_^

Princeps and

melting_penguin brought their firstborn, whom I met for the first time. I've heard of "grey eyes" in novels hundreds of times, but this was the first time I'd ever seen anyone who actually had grey eyes.

jenjoou brought the Kyou Kara Maou novel, which the series was based on. I don't read a word of Japanese, so I'm waiting (im)patiently for her translation. Even if the first sentence is eight clauses long.

Wrote 8 pages today, and visited friends.

em_fish should be here soon. Tomorrow I'll be on a plane to Vancouver. Looking very much forward to seeing
