So I promised this:

To write to your MP a letter of support for same-sex marriage, here is the address:

[YOUR MP'S NAME]
House of Commons
Ottawa, Ontario
K1A 0A6

If you don't know your MP's name, head here and plug in your postal code. There is NO POSTAGE REQUIRED to send a letter to your MP.

The address-finder can also get you their email address, but MPs are notorious about not reading email. They seem to take snail mail much more seriously.

In other news, this has been a very productive day. My main edit is speeding along faster now than expected.

Can I send letters to your MP? I suspect it would do me about as much good as writing to my representatives here, but someone in Quebec might think it was absolutely hilarious. :)

(To be fair, our state senator, John McCain, is actually a pretty stand-up kinda guy, by political standards. I don't agree with a lot of his politics, but at least he's not a total sleazebag. I just don't think anybody's listening to the sane people right now.)

Probably wouldn't help, but thanks for the offer.

There are quite a few sane voices in American politics, it's true, but they seem to have a very hard time fighting their way to the centre.
