Everyone is supposed to? That's worrisome.... I had to go back to the eighties to find a year that had more than a handful of popular songs that I liked. >_< But then my style of music really isn't popular I guess.

I've always liked Bryan Adams for some reason though. I don't know why.

I thought there was a lotof pressure to conform back them. I did l;ike Nirvana and Pearl Jam, but a lot of popular music just rubbec me the wrong way.

I loathed Céline Dion. I knew quite a few people who adored her.

And Bryan Adams is quite a surprise. He's not exactly your usual fare. I think a Bryan Adams CD and a Megadeath CD would ignite on contact.

I suppose so. I guess that it's just that as a teen no one approved of most of the things I liked so I stopped caring what they thought.

True, although to be fair, I like him but not to the point that I have CDs or mp3s and listen to them all the time. More like it comes on the radio and I hum along sort of like. I don't only listen to Heavy Metal, only mostly. ^_^ And I do have a kind of nostalgic fondness for 80s music.
