We had a great adventure today. I hope ye who are of the party enjoyed it.

For [livejournal.com profile] foi_nefaste
The party went in, fought the duke (who died in seconds) and the dark monk, plus three minor devils. The dark monk escaped by a spell, and reappeared on the turrets of the neighbouring tower.

Honorious (the dark sorcerer/thief appeared, yelled at him a little, then killed the monk with his own nightmares (after punishing him a little for "wrecking *his* city"). Honorious then raised him as a zombie, and the two of them left on Faerlynn's last ship.

The party hung out for a week in town, selling off all their gems and turning it into currency. Then they attended a ceremony. The deeds of the party were read off a list, and the party was knighted.

Now, from [livejournal.com profile] foi_nefaste and [livejournal.com profile] em_fish I need some idea of where you're going. I wanted to run a set of adventures around Matt R's character, but I doubt that's going to be possible if he can't make it. So I'm going to be redesigning things a bit, and put that stuff on hold. I don't want to put pressure on Matt, and I doubt he's up to hosting adventures right now.

From you guys -- and all active party members -- I need to know where the party wants to go next. I need to know as soon as possible.

Ships can get you to the following places:
  • Seiti: The church centre. One-and-a-half weeks travel.
  • Tyrum: The free city, where you've already spent a few months. Not far from Tyrum is the Elven city of Datray. One week's travel.
  • The Dwarven colonies: Mining operations. One month.
  • The Empire: One-to-two months of travel. This is continent. A half dozen major cities, under the sway of an Emperor -- and the Khalomite church.
  • The Far West Six to nine months of travel across scarcely-mapped seas. Very dangerous voyage, and radically different culture.
  • Hylan: Now under Orcish control. Three weeks, and you'd have to pay extra to go there.

It's entirely up to you guys -- the adventure will progress regardless. But I do need to know fairly quickly.

It would be nice for some of my search for Griff to bear fruit. Maybe in the chaos of Faerlynn (sp?) Firefly could catch some whisper on the wind and pick up the trail once more... I'd been hoping to find something out at the Uni but I couldn't pick up on any clues as to where to dig.

Just a suggestion.

Oh, don't worry. I hadn't forgotten that storyline.

I intend that one to come up very soon ;)
