Jun. 1st, 2007 12:33 pmIt's going to be a busy week, so I'll be a little scarce on LJ. I'll try to keep up with reading my friends list, but I work this weekend, Monday, and Tuesday at my regular job, and I'm in for Wednesday and Thursday at my moonlighting job doing Cambridge exams. Then I'm back here Friday.
So counting today and yesterday, that's a 9-day workweek -- not my worst, even at this job, but still tiring.
I'm keeping up with my editing, though, and I expect to be 75% through this first heavy edit -- this is the edit to make sure things are a) historically accurate, and b) internally consistent.
Another edit will be to clean up style and form -- to enrich the language, avoid repetitive use of the same words, make sentences less clumsy, and that sort of thing. I'm going to go slowly with that one, and it may take a month.
After each of these edits, I plan to do a quick edit over a course of a couple of days. I expect this whole process should take less than two months, until it's ready to show.
As for my plans for getting a life, I think they're on hold until I'm at least in my forties. I have been reading a fair bit (including all the manga I got for my birthday), and somewhere in there I want to re-read The Half-Blood Prince again before the next Harry Potter comes out.

Date: 2007-06-02 10:59 am (UTC)Solfège was really good. So was Shout Out Loud. Fullmetal Alchemist/b> is still awaiting my attentions, though.
