I suppose there's still a little time to wish people a happy Canada Day! Hard to believe country's 140 years old.

I spent the holiday hanging out with good friends, and also researching some of the murkier depths of early Canadian history.

I'm sorry I've been neglecting journals. I've been captivated by history lately (my last entry was not great, but I've got a much better one to post tomorrow). I'll start back-reading tomorrow -- I promise.

I have a theory that pornography online is gradually getting replaced by cute fuzzy kittens with captions. At least I run into more of those by accident now than porn.

The internet has done the impossible: it's made us bored of sex.

Happy Canada Day! ^_^ ...it's not that hard to believe but maybe that's because since the year started Longueuil's been telling us that it's 350 years old this year. That makes Canada sound pretty young. ^_^

We should all get together again soon. I've been so isolated from human life lately I'm going to turn into a recluse, sitting in my dark library mumbling to myself. ;)

Failing that, a bunch of us (Steve, Adina, Em) are headed for the next Harry Potter movie the Sunday after it comes out.
