Happy Imbolc, to those who celebrate it ^_^

Had a little Imbolc rit to myself this morning. Dedicated my athame. I'm going to a public rit tomorrow.

On that note -- this is an asocial weekend. We're not getting together at [livejournal.com profile] jenjoou's tonight in case anyone didn't get the memo, and [livejournal.com profile] montrealais and I won't be in tomorrow for tea. I thought I had to work this weekend, though, so I've already been telling people not to come.

The only other thing going is that I've been commanded not to say anything funny for a little while, because getting metaquoted three times in thirty-six hours was too much.

While not being funny for awhile does give me some insight into the daily hell that is Brent Bambury's life, it means I'll have to talk about yesterday's purchases another time.

No tea? Please tell montrealais that I'll come by sometime during the week then and I'll give him a call about it. I'd like to help you two with your router.

We can still have you over at the time we said (one, I think); it's just that we're heading to something at five, so tea at 3 PM is cutting it too close.

Hey montrealais,

I have a bookclub I have to attend at 1 (you're right about the time you said but I've been really crappy with remembering dates of recent.) Would 3:30 be cutting it too close?

Provided it doesn't take too long. We'll need to leave around 4 or so.

Okay, I'll give you a call when I get home and try to take care of at least some of what needs to be done. Then, I can come back another day to finish it up. Sorry to be giving you this stupid run-around.

I'm tempted to metaquote you anyway.

Don't. It's a well-fabricated fact that LiveJournalers can produce pitchforks and torches from thin air in instant-mob fashion. I'd hate to wear out their welcome in anyway.

I know. I just love it when someone says, "... I don't think that's funny."

The lunacy that ensues warms my old bones.

It was fun to see you yesterday!

Are you talking about the purchase you made at Indigo or something else?

Also, you fail at not being funny ;p

Yep -- the poetry books. I'll post about them today or tomorrow.
