Crisis over
Mar. 10th, 2005 06:47 amThe disaster has been averted, but gods, what a day. And now I'm farther behind than ever.
I have to give the papers a once-over before bringing them in. Gad. I'm kind of glad I missed the deadline for TA next year. I might might take a couple of semesters off somewhere in there, and work on my thesis anyway. I asked Bonnie-Jean about it, and she said that as long as I sign the papers in advance, that's okay.
I kind of would like to do some research in my area -- haven't had much of a chance. But it depends on what's being offered in the way of CanLit courses next year. With Kevin going to Saketchewan, it's going to be poor Laura having to hold down all of Canadian Literature again, unless they get another Canadianist.
Oh well. I'm just going to get my papers in, do some errands, and then just relax for the rest of the day.
