Just thought I'd stop in to wish a happy Ostara to all who celebrate it, and a happy first day of Spring to those who don't.

March came in like a lion, then became a lamb, but that lamb now has distinctly leonine parts. I think I glimpsed a mane this morning, and I'm pretty sure those are claws.

If it further mutates to incorporate goat parts and dragon parts, someone's going to have to call up Bellerophon.

Anytime I protest that I am harmless as the new-borned lamb, at least one person insists that new-borned lambs have vicious fangs. Clearly it's one of those lambs.

That's a disturbing image. But then I once witnessed the existence of vicious carnivorous chipmunks, so who knows?

33ÂșC today. Obviously autumn hit the snooze button down here and is having a lie in.

Happy Spring - you deserve a lovely one after the winter you just had.

Thanks, although it's actually been one of the more mild ones. The extreme-cold days were often interrupted by mild ones.

I've been through winters here with mountains of snow, and other ones where it stayed stuck in the -30 temperatures for weeks on end as late as March.
