Aug. 11th, 2009 05:42 amYesterday, we had windows installed -- of the glass, not the software variety. Our landlord sprung it on us as a surprise, and replaced all the windows in the building on a single day.
The installation process seemed to take forever, but at least no product keys were required. While the work crew were installing them, some of the casings look too small for their apertures, and I was worried they'll pop out and crash the second the cats beta-test their ledges. Now that the job's done, though, they seem fine.
If these new windows don't pan out, though, I guess we could always find out if there's Linux glassware out there.
