I'm not dead - just tired, stressed, and overworked. My part-time has been more or less full-time employment for awhile now. When I am at home, it's been writing and Dragon Age, which remains a pretty astonishing game even after being beaten a few times. Minus-thirty-Celsius weather has given me a reason to be even less social than usual.

So how are you all doing...?

At least part-time being more like full-time means more money? Yes?

That's at least sort of good...

Me? I'm fine. Wishing I'd stop being on such a wierd wake/sleep schedule, but there's not much I can do except keep waking up when I'm supposed to until I'm exhausted enough to fall asleep at the proper hour if I'm not still working in my lab.

It does mean more money, which is good and necessary these days. But I've been exhausted, and while I'm writing every day, I haven't been able to keep up my twenty hours minimum each week. I'd rather be frugal and part time.

My mother has that kind of schedule, and that same sleeping problem. She's an medical technician, so I'd assume she had some pharmacological solution, but actually she swears by warm milk.

Warm milk is helpful sometimes, but generally I try to avoid dairy... especially before bed. :-/

Glad to hear from you and know that you're just busy. I know all to well the desire to crawl in a hole for a while.

I'm good. Teaching, drawing, writing. Pretty busy as well.

I knew about the teaching. I'm glad you're keeping up with the writing and drawing, too ^_^

Yeah, I finally got around to reorganizing my room and putting a drafting table in it so that I can draw and not give myself horrible back pains.

Btw - Can I drag you out of your hole some time for a cup of tea? :)

That'd be lovely. My weekend is so far open, as is my Tuesday and Wednesday. Let me know what works for you!

Ooh, Tuesday would be perfect for me as I don't have to go to campus that day. :)

What time would work best for you?

Hey! I'm running late. I didn't notice what time it was until just now.

I'll be there soon!

I'm glad you're still alive. We've missed you. ;_;

I'm mostly ok. Sick, right now though on the mend. Work is going well. They're still yanking me around but I got a raise and new responsibilities so I figure they're at least happy with my work.

And I'm glad you're enjoying Dragon Age... I've however moved on from my Dragon Age obsession to my Mass Effect obsession. Squee!

And I use my Percy picture because he is endlessly cute.

I do love Dragon Age, though I have some issues with its much-vaunted queer characters.

On the other hand, 'tis quite nice to see a game that's not only well-written and well-voice-acted, but also one in which you can trade in the Christian religious allegory for a Wiccan one.

Oh, you know... trying to wrap everything up around here before we return to Canada. Really looking forward to seeing you, Matt, the Anime Gang, Marc, Ros, The Royals, and meeting people I haven't met yet, like little Joseph Second-In-Line, and fluffy Percy.

My SIL continues to drive me insane, but she's family, so what can I do.

I am kind of dreading the cold, but I'm glad I got to skip most of winter 09/10. Overall, my main thought is that 4:26 PM, February 26th can't come soon enough.

Well, my policy with family I don't get along with is to keep them a quarter of a world away. You've gone a quarter of world better than I have :)

I'm glad you two are going to be her soon. And this winter has been mild, almost always above zero. Plus you've had half a summer this winter, and then you'll get a full summer this summer, so your summer/winter ratio is 3:1 for 2010 :)
