Rufus Wainwright, Poses. He's weird -- a bit like Bjork on Valium.
3a) The last song I listened to before writing this was:
Nirvana's "All Apologies"
3b) Song playing right now:
Gundam Wing theme ("Rhythm Emotion"). I said you can stop laughing now.
4) Five songs I listen to a lot or that mean a lot to me (in no order at all) are:

Half my friends have already done this. But here goes. I don't think any of the following have (apologies if you have):
em_fish Just because I'm curious (though I can guess one artist who's going to be on that list ;) )
foi_nefaste Because you and I like some of the same bands, and because you don't have enough to do already ;)
jc2004 Because I'm curious what you're listening to these days.
jenjoou Because I figure there's going to be some good anime music in there to expand my repertoire :)
siencyn Because it sounds like you could do with thinking about something less stressful, these days.

4) Five songs I listen to a lot or that mean a lot to me (in no order at all) are:
- Pet Shop Boys "Closer to Heaven" (theatrical version): The lyrics for this one are completely changed from the album version -- it's the one they used in their musical. It's also one of the most beautiful romantic songs I've ever heard.
- Smashing Pumpkins' "1979": This was "my song" for awhile, when I first moved to Montreal. Most of the friends I was hanging out with then have moved away, and it always makes me think of them.
- Nirvana's "All Apologies": And while we're talking about old friends, this one makes me remember old friends in Esquimalt -- people I was really close to, and a few I still am. This was always my favourite Nirvana song.
- Pearl Jam's "Jeremy" I used to listen to this a lot when I was a teenager when I was suicidal. It's what kept me here. I still have a copy. It's a comfort.
- Rufus Wainright's "Cigarettes and Chocolate Milk": Just something fun to balance out the rest. It's a sweet song.
