Rain!

First, let me thank the Goddess for this lovely rain. I love rain usually, but after all these sticky days of life-devouring heat, it's truly delightful. I promise to smack the next person who says global warming is a good thing, if it can get rid of the Montreal winter.

Secondly, I'd like to say that we had a really good game this week -- or at least I thought so. I was in good form and well-prepared. Though I do have to admit I'm looking forward to a mini-vacation next week when Matt runs his adventure. These take a lot of time to prepare.

I'm not sure, but I think this week's adventure is the goriest one I've ever run -- or the goriest in recent memory. But then insane necromancers usually aren't squeamish. Still, I keep thinking of this 8-bit Theatre cartoon whenever I reflect what happened to the town.

A random gleaning from the news: Same-sex marriage activists in France took over the famous Notre-Dame cathedral, and performed a marriage of two women there. I wonder what Victor Hugo would've thought?

ETA: The rain has already ended, and the sun's hot rage waxes again. I'd cry, but I fear my tears would become steam.

You can't even tell it rained anymore... I'm too young to cook to death.

Is there a proper age for getting cooked to death? 0_o

(Great. Another reason to fear birthdays...)

Why of course! And it's always just a bit older than I am at any given time. ;)
