Brain: "You have three more pages to write, about a dozen articles to read, and a good 4 or 5 errands to run."
Body: *cooked to ash with the heat of a thousand white suns*
Brain: "Well what are you waiting for? Get a move on!"

On another note, I was wondering if I should create a custom-filter for the political stuff. I'm going to be pretty politically-focused for the next month, seeing as how much is riding on the next few weeks -- the first progressive budget, the election, and same-sex marriage -- at a time with such an unstable government. I find this a convenient place to rant.

I'm especially worried that I'm boring my three non-Canadian friends to tears with the soap opera that used to be our government. As addicted as I may be to "As the Stomach Churns" (Will Belinda leave Peter? Will Pat O'Brien screw over the country out of spite? Can Chuck Cadman save the day again?), I can't imagine this is very interesting to my German and American friends.

Do you guys want me to create a separate filter for the political stuff? Or are you okay with it as it is?

I like the political stuff a lot, actually.

That's good. It's just in real life, I tend to notice people's eyes gloss over when I talk about this stuff, and you can't see eyes on LJ, so I'm frequently worried about boring people.

But I'm glad to hear it. If I do make a filter, I'll put you in it so you'll keep getting stuff :)

It's perfectly fine o_o If I don't care to know about something in detail I scroll or crossread. No filter needed. No censoring =O

I didn't mean censoring. It's not like there's something I don't want you to know 0_o

I just noticed that things tend to go mostly dead when I talk politics, so I was worried I was boring people. That's all.

You know that I'm not as pouncy on politics as you are- and there's even less for me to say to Canadian politics o_o I mean I could say 'that sucks' or 'that's great' every time... but I have no substance to add.

Ah, besides, no commenting doesn't mean it's not being read with interest. This is the downside here on lj - attention is easily measured in comments by a poster... though it's not quite a good reflection in all actuality.

I know, my friend. It's just that it's so hard to know these things in cyberspace. I thought it would be better to ask than let people politely squirm, if they were, because if they were, I wouldn't want to be forcing it on them.

It's good to know I'm not :)
