The division bells has been rung. 13 minutes. I repeat, 13 minutes to the last crucial vote on same-sex marriage.

You can watch it at C-PAC

Now it's 12 minutes.

ETA: Passed!

In favour: 158
Against: 133

Now it just has to go through a week or two of rubber stamping.

I made a cheesy little graphic to help people follow that process :)

I'm still not sure what it means, but it felt right at the time :)

I'm so confused, are people abstaining?

By my count, there were 17 fewer votes than there members (I'm tired, so my math might be off).

So some people either abstained or didn't show up :/

Hey, I just realised that your icon is behind the times now. "All of Canada" has a much better ring to it. :D

It's a little premature, but I updated it anyway, and thought I'd upload it :)

You can add "'licious" to anything you want. It makes the English language so much better, that way.

Except for "Ebolalicious". That's just wrong and scary.

I don't know. I can think of a few other words that don't survive the transition to -licious:

septiclicious.
zombielicious
Alan Greenspanlicious

There are quite a few more, I'm certain :p

similarly, e-colilicious has too many i's and is generally kinda wrong

though we could say that Emma is "Madonnalicious"

hmm... biblelicious is kinda funny, do you think Buddy Christ is Bibelicious?

Katharine's life is theatrelicious...

I don't know. Personally, I find zombies quite tasty, especially with Diana Sauce.

And if Alan Greenspan had more 'licious in his life, that could only be a good thing.

As for Madonnalicious, it really exists! I was "Madgealicious" at a messageboard for a while. Apparently my best friend happened across that board randomly and knew it was me, solely based on my username.
