Green tea and evil orphans
Sep. 26th, 2005 08:12 pmI've written 5.5 pages today, bringing me to 62 pages on the new novel, and the end of my third chapter (not counting the prelude).
I was almost starved for oxygen today, laughing at the scene in Solomon Gursky Was Here where a 14-year-old orphaned Ephraim Gursky moves in with a proper, Victorian, bible-tumping, upper-class British family. Now I'll always be curious if the god-fearing Mr. and Mrs. Nicholson wound up in a prison.
I continue to live, in spite of the fact that chamomile green tea, high on my reasons-for-living list, appears to have disappeared from the city :/
