I've written 5.5 pages today, bringing me to 62 pages on the new novel, and the end of my third chapter (not counting the prelude).

I was almost starved for oxygen today, laughing at the scene in Solomon Gursky Was Here where a 14-year-old orphaned Ephraim Gursky moves in with a proper, Victorian, bible-tumping, upper-class British family. Now I'll always be curious if the god-fearing Mr. and Mrs. Nicholson wound up in a prison.

I continue to live, in spite of the fact that chamomile green tea, high on my reasons-for-living list, appears to have disappeared from the city :/

Bastards! Would you like us to try and find you some in Vancouver? There's a specialty tea shop on Broadway that I'm sure will carry it...

I'm sure we could get some fresh stuff mixed at the specialty tea shop. Did you just get tea bags before or loose tea? Do you have a strainer for loose tea?

Thank you both. I'm sure it exists here somewhere. I just get teabags mostly.

We have a strainer, but it's not a very good one, and it's a bit of a pain to work with :/
