Prima Pars

I have just finished the big overhaul of my novel, and have removed all the most serious problems, I think. Now comes an extremely slow, detail-oriented, passage-by-passage overhaul that will likely take longer.

Still, one novel + one revision, totaling a little less than 400 pages, in 3 months is, I think, something to be proud of :)

On Family Values

An LJ icon today made me realize today that the abstinence-only sex-education movement is lead by members of a religion that begins with a virgin birth.

Abstinence didn't help Mary. Why should it help anyone else...?

Thank you. Every year, I get a little more serious about it. I'm beginning to feel like a hermit, but it's a good hermitage.

I may be able to turn this into something :)
