Work yesterday was pretty tiring. Trying to chase down teachers to get their attendance in for the end of the month, mostly.

Editing is going very, very slowly. I'm still not quite 10% of the way through it. this is always the hardest part of writing for me. The creative explosion of is a pleasure, the slow going-over is more akin to cleaning a room.

Oh, and just because everyone else is doing it, "I hereby announce I will not be running for the leadership of the Liberal Party of Canada." Last person not to say it has to be Leader of the Opposition!

I can remember when people wanted to lead that party 0_o

"I hereby announce I will not be running for the leadership of the Liberal Party of Canada. Or any other leadership. I make a pretty crappy leader actually. I'm more of a follower, myself. Oh look, a penny!"

... Ooooh, shiny?

Right with you on that one. There are some problems I just don't need. EVER. I'd much rather let someone else deal with them.

I imagine leadership of the Liberal party would be a little like working in your workplace, except the people around you would be making life-and-death decisions on a large scale >_

... yeah, except that I can make 'I work with morons' posts in my LJ while I'm not in politics. That counts for something.

True. I just meant you wouldn't want to get yourself into that, tho, because it'd be your workplace x10.

Filtered friends locked posts work once you get elected. Not that I know someone who works in politics...

I hereby announce I will not be running for the leadership of the Liberal Party of Canada.

Especially since I'm not from Canada.

If you're a Voldemort/Lucius-style Slytherin, you'd probably be happier with the Conservative Party of Canada anyway. Unless, of course, you're a Slughorn/Regulus-style Slytherin, in which case you'd want to look at another party. :p

(We had a debate in the [livejournal.com profile] ndp community about how Harry Potter matched up with Canadian politics. The original post and my entry in the discussion is here (http://community.livejournal.com/ndp/41234.html?thread=287250#t287250).)
