Spent a lovely day hanging out with the ever-pleasant em_fish.

Except for that bright spot, it's been rather a waste of a day. Got very little done -- only four pages deep-edited so far. Really must get past this internet addiction of mine, especially when I've got so much work on the novel to complete, and so much school to get caught up on.

It won't be visible on a friends page, but I've changed the look of my journal -- everything's white now. Black is the colour of mourning in one half of the world, white in the other, and somehow white as a colour of mourning seemed more appropriate for the arrival of the Conservative Party to power. Harper becomes Prime Minister officially tomorrow.

It shall change again when Harper is gone.

PS I saw Principessa Pingy and the Heir today. Pingy asked about you and I told her you were full of unabated rage about Postmodernism and the election results. The Heir is flourishing and is the cutest little sausage I have ever seen - those eyes!

I'm not all bitterness. Just when I think about the state of the world. I can understand why some people retreat from it, but I feel I can't for the simple reason that too many others do.
