Birthday plans! And, bigoted cow-orker!

felis_ultharusSorry I haven't been around much lately. For a few months every year, I like to cut my internet time to a minimum -- a "detox period" I call it. It's too damn easy to start living here.
Anyway, my birthday party Saturday has been expanded. We're going to be entertaining in the afternoon and evening, and those coming can come for afternoon, evening, or both. And we're also having a game Sunday -- which I enjoy so much, I'm thinking of it as a second party ^_^

melting_penguin's replacement at out company, Jocelyn, is leaving. I can't say I'm too sorry to see her go. It'll be chaos while her replacement learns the ropes, but I've decided I really don't like Jocelyn.
The last few weeks, after she announced she was quitting, she's gradually decided she'd stop bottling up her bigoted sentiments in the workplace. The last little while, we have been treated to "Straight white males have a harder time finding work than anyone else" and "Jews own the telemarketing business." She'd also started referring to herself with pride as a "redneck."
Yeah, I'm glad today was her last day.
